Three operating modes, depending on your needs – built for maximum data security in your company: 1. fully local on your own machine (works without an internet connection), 2. on an AI server inside your own company (central for several workstations, data stays in-house), or 3. – only if you explicitly want it – via the cloud, for maximum recognition accuracy or with AI correction that polishes grammar and punctuation on the fly. Add your own technical vocabulary so specialist terms are recognised reliably. A single program file – no installation required.

Runs as a small icon in the system tray and automatically backs up folders of your choice to a network drive – no extra software, no subscription. You get a short notification on your phone when a backup starts, finishes or hits a problem, for example when the network drive was unreachable – on request also by email. Set it up once – then you're free to forget it.

Animated sketch: BackupHelper keeps checking the PC for changes and backs up only the changed files to the network drive – if it's unreachable, a notification lands on your phone right away.

In detail

Watchdog collects readings from instruments and sensors right where they originate – even where setups change frequently. Quietly in the background, it also evaluates the database or the measurement data itself and runs fully autonomously – you only need to step in when it's really necessary. LabWatch brings the data together and makes it visible: as a live cockpit for a quick overview or as a structured hand-over to a higher-level control system. It's just as happy to handle any custom evaluation you need – a digital lab book, project progress, or individual data analysis, entirely flexible to your needs. The ecosystem grows with you – from a single measurement station to a fully connected lab.

Animated sketch: watchdogs capture the readings right at the instruments, the LabWatch cockpit brings them together live – if a value spikes, you see it immediately.

The real control room: for every station the cockpit shows at a glance whether data is coming in (green, yellow or red), how many measurements ran recently and what was noted last.

The watchdog at the instrument: whoever starts working signs in with a few entries – anything noteworthy goes straight into the digital lab book as a note.
